Avenger: Infinity WAR – Thor

Despite the fact that Avengers: Infinity War is a masterpiece. It has always seemed odd that Thanos (Josh Brolin) started the film with just one Infinite Stone. Jim Starlin, the creator of Thanos, revealed Marvel Studio truly shot a 45-minute scene demonstrating. How the villain eliminates Xandar in order to obtain the Power Stone throughout a conversation with Near Mint Condition. Unfortunately, Marvel Studios decided to scrap the scene before any VFX work was completed. Because they didn’t foresee the film’s resounding success.

In the 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War. Thanos travels the universe in search of the six infinity stones that he needs to eliminate half of the universe’s sentient life. The culmination of a decade’s worth of films gradually revealing each Stone’s place was an ultimate crossover event. For instance, the Power Stone plays a central role in the Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) story. And by the time the movie ends, the Power Stone has hidden away in a vault in Xandar. The Nova Empire’s capital. It would be reasonable to assume that in order to get there, Thanos must take out the formidable Nova Corps army.

Thanos already possesses the Power Stone

While searching for the Tesseract, a Space Stone Loki (Tom Hiddleston) stole from Odin’s (Anthony Hopkins) vault. Thanos nevertheless destroys an Asgardian ship in the opening scene of Avengers: Infinity War. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and even the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) are no match for the Mad Titan, and that’s not surprising given. That Thanos already possesses the Power Stone at that point. It is therefore obvious that the Mad Titan destroyed Xandar in some way, but we never witness it. Starlin has since revealed that this omitted scene would’ve extended Avengers: Infinity War’s running time by an additional 45 minutes. According to Starling.

But a month or so before the film’s release, Joe sent me an email or something informing me. That the 45 minutes of Thanos that present at the start of Infinity War had cut. They had to cut out the entire sequence of him receiving the first gem. They actually shot it, but they never wanted to pay for the special effects or make the movie as long as the second one [Endgame] did. They were unaware that it would be such a success.

It seems excessive to spend an additional 45 minutes on a single set piece. Despite this, we would’ve cherished seeing more of Brolin’s powerful portrayal of Thanos, particularly if it meant seeing Xandar’s demise. The statement in Starling’s note that Marvel Studios was reluctant to take some chances. Because they weren’t expecting Avengers: Infinity War’s success is even more puzzling. In the end, the film made over $2 billion, making it the second most profitable MCU film after Avengers: Endgame. So Marvel Studios, how about wrapping up that scene and releasing an extended version of Avengers: Infinity War in theaters? To see that, some of us would gladly pay.

The MCU Continues to Grow

The ambitious “Infinity Saga” storyline, concluded by Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, but the MCU is still growing. Currently, Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), developed by Marvel Studios into another significant antagonist. Who will plague the MCU for the foreseeable future while they manage a number of TV and movie projects. It hasn’t been easy, though, as the curiosity of viewers appears to have declined following the “Infinity Saga.” As a result, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, their most recent movie released in theaters, struggled to turn a profit. We’re hoping Marvel Studios will rock the boat. Because we’d really like to see bigger, bolder stories like Infinity War told on the big screen.
